ITS is committed to the responsibility of improving and monitoring our environmental and social impacts within the construction sector.
We work with our supplier and sub-contractors to understand and minimise where possible the environmental impact of our operations. Where we continue to develop and work towards achieving are sustainability goals.

Net Zero Waste Generated
Net Zero Carbon

Our team understand the importance of our sustainability commitments and we undertake regular reviews to ensure we deliver what we promise. We are committed to increasing awareness and regularly engage our team in the necessary training to increase knowledge and best practice.

Our Expectations

  • We encourage our suppliers and sub-contractors to minimise waste by minimal packaging and to reuse or recycle where possible.
  • Implement early design strategies to reduce waste.
  • Reduce our consumption of products by utilising more sustainable products where feasible.
  • Select products that have a reduced environmental impact or recycled content when appropriate to do so.
  • Timber must be supplied from (FSC or PEFC) accredited source.
  • Ensure suppliers and sub-contractors have appropriate quality certification and management systems. Preferably these should include both OHSAS: 18001 & ISO 14001.
  • We are committed to including our sustainability documentation within our tending pack.
  • We ask our suppliers and contractors that where possible they should source materials locally to help reduce the environmental impact apportioned to distribution and in accordance with BES6001.
  • Waste disposal is only permitted by a competent company and must be supported with the correct licences and disposal certification.
